Code of Ethics
We want a biodiverse planet where our long term future isn't sold for shareholder profit.
We believe it is possible to slow the spread of climate change and mitigate its effects, creating greater harmony between humans and other species on earth.
We want clean water, food, air, and cities for all people.
We believe clean water, food, and air are human rights that can be delivered to people around the globe with the resources available today.
We want everyone to have the ability to move freely outdoors.
We believe nobody should fear for their life when moving outside because of war, pollution, hate, or inaccessibility. We believe everyone can have a dignified life and access to the outdoors with the resources currently available.
We want an end to all wars, thus protecting ecosystems and human life.
We believe that war is not a necessity, nor a badge of honor or strength, but part of a system meant to subjugate and inflict suffering.
We want an end to the extortion of the working class.
We believe that class solidarity, unions, coalition building, and direct and indirect action are key to prioritizing the needs of the planet and its people.
We want healthcare for all people.
We believe that healthcare is a human right, not reserved for the wealthy or the privileged, but a fundamental right from birth until death, regardless of where you are in the world.
We want education that exposes the true nature of this world, for its diversity, its beauty, and its possibility.
We believe that education is a human right, giving people tools to live meaningfully and make a positive impact. Without an education, we are doomed to repeat the cycles of the past and to be exploited.
We want the individuals and corporations responsible for large scale pollution held accountable.
We believe the accumulation of wealth at the expense of our planet and its people is a crime against humanity. To know the consequences of pollution and the suffering it inflicts on vulnerable populations makes those in charge of the world’s largest corporations criminals. We believe that polluters should pay for the damage caused to us. We must prioritize regenerative production and respect for other species.
We want freedom for people of all ages, nationalities, abilities, religions, and identities.
We believe where someone is born does not determine their future or their worth. We believe everyone can contribute to making the planet greener, more livable, and more just.
We want GECo to provide everyday people the ability to take action.
We believe we can positively impact the world by building a collective of movers united in protecting the planet and acting in solidarity with people affected by injustice.
